ABSTRACT
The paper aims to present the situation in relation to the socio-political goals of fiscal policy (a set number of objectives of social and political connotations), and recommendations in state’s efforts to reduce differences in the material and social position of taxpayers in certain regions, especially through the redistributive function of public finance. This socio- political dimension is manifested in the fact that absolute and relative amounts (size) of economic forces that represent the basis for taxation are modified. In the context of socio-political goals of fiscal policy the relevant dimensions of demographic or population targets and tasks have been incorporated.
